Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Ausum Lifestyle ("we", "us", "our") operates the products available at OMore.app, including Drop A Posty and Biz.OMore. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users — especially young users under 16. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Our products are designed for young creators. We take children's privacy seriously, and it shapes every product decision we make.

2. What We Collect

The data we collect depends on how you use our products:

Data Purpose Where stored
Username Your chosen account identifier (letters and numbers only) Firebase Auth + Firestore
Password Account security — hashed by Firebase; we never see it in plain text Firebase Auth
Age group Self-declared bracket (13+ or under 13), used to determine feature eligibility Firestore
Content you create Postcards, messages, business plans — what you make using our tools Firestore + Cloud Storage
Usage counters Items sent, streak, milestones — to power your progress Firestore
Anonymous session ID Lets you use core features without signing up. Auto-deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Firebase Auth

If you sign in with Google or Apple, their service shares your email address with Firebase Auth to identify your account. This email is used for authentication only — never for marketing and never visible to other users. See Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. What We Do Not Collect

  • Real name, home address, or date of birth
  • Email address or phone number (unless you sign in with Google or Apple — see Section 2)
  • Location data or GPS coordinates
  • Photos from your camera roll
  • Contacts or address book
  • Browsing history outside of our products
  • Financial or payment information
  • Device fingerprinting data

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Ever.

5. Children's Privacy — COPPA & DPDP

Our products are designed with young users in mind and we comply with COPPA (US) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (India). Here is what that means in practice:

  • We do not collect email addresses, real names, or any contact information from children
  • There are no direct messages, chats, or public comments — no way for strangers to contact your child
  • There are no public profiles — content is shared by link, not by public discovery
  • We do not serve targeted advertising to any users, including children
  • No account is required to use core features of Drop A Posty
  • All user-generated content is moderated before it can be shared

During sign-up, users self-declare their age bracket. We use this to determine feature eligibility (for example, teacher classroom accounts require age 13+). If you believe a child has created an account you would like removed, contact us at hello@ausum.app and we will delete it promptly.

6. AI Usage

Our products use AI as a thinking partner — not to produce work for the user, but to guide, encourage, and spark creativity. Our AI asks questions, offers prompts, and gives feedback; it does not write stories, essays, or plans on the user's behalf.

Content you create may be processed by our AI to provide in-product guidance. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not share it with third-party AI providers beyond what is needed to deliver the service.

7. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase to power our products. Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage, and hosting. Google processes data in accordance with their Firebase Privacy Policy.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (such as which features are most used). This does not involve tracking individual users or building advertising profiles.

We do not use advertising SDKs, social media tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools.

8. Data Retention

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ausum.app.

10. Cookies

We use essential session cookies only — specifically, Firebase authentication session cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent cross-site identifiers.

11. Security

We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), server-enforced access controls, and hashed password storage. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through our products. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when the policy was last revised.

13. Contact
